HYDRO-STONE Gypsum Cement is used in the production of high-quality novelty and statuary castings where an extremely hard surface is desired. All Industrial Plasters and Gypsum Cement products from the Industrial Products Division of United States Gypsum Company provide controllable setting performance that few other materials can offer. For example, users can shorten or lengthen their setting times by simply adding accelerators or retardants. This means consistent, batch-to-batch reliability.
HYDRO-STONE Gypsum Cement is widely used in stretch-press die applications – again, where extreme surface hardness is required. It is also used successfully for making cope-and-drag equipment. All grades of this material are among the hardest and strongest gypsum cements available anywhere.
